MOORESTOWN, N.J. (Nov. 15, 2023) – Veterans Day, the annual recognition of those who have served in the U.S. military during wartime and peacetime, brings with it an opportunity to honor local residents who have proudly represented their country. Cambridge’s military veteran residents include:
- Leo Italiano, Navy

- John Parkin, Army, Corporal
- Walter Rider, Army, Captain

Veterans Day is observed annually on November 11. The day of recognition is filled with local remembrances and parades across the country, as well as a national ceremony held each year at Arlington National Cemetery.
Cambridge Enhanced Senior Living Executive Director Kathleen Leypoldt said, “We appreciate our veterans every day, but the holiday offered an opportunity for our community to come together and thank Leo, Raymond, Richard, John, Walter, Joseph, Clifford and Marcia for their courage and commitment.
