SOUTH ORANGE, N.J., May 31, 2012 – Temple Sharey Tefilo-Israel will be hosting a Voices of Joy Simcha Celebration on Saturday, June 9 at 7 pm to celebrate the life and work of Cantor Theodore Aronson, who is retiring after 45 years of continuous service to become the congregation’s Cantor Emeritus. The Temple is
located at 432 Scotland Road in South Orange.

The festive evening will reflect Cantor’s lifelong passion for music that lifts the spirits and will include a
performance by his son Noah Aronson, a celebrated musician and composer. Cantor’s love for the food and wine of the Mediterranean will be on display in the evening’s sumptuous menu prepared by Diana Hart Fine Catering, and guests will be inspired to dance by the tunes of The Continentals Orchestra. TSTI member Russell Kaplan is serving as the celebration’s Creative Director.

Members of the congregation and community are invited to share their thoughts and memories of Cantor Aronson in the Temple’s digital commemorative journal, which will be on view throughout the evening and is available on the Temple website at http://wizadjournal.com/tsticelebration2012/.
