MOONACHIE/NEWARK, N.J., March 18, 2014 – On April 24, Volunteer Lawyers for Justice (VLJ) will host a free foreclosure and bankruptcy seminar for victims of Superstorm Sandy. The seminar, which begins at 6 p.m., will be held at the Recovery Information Center at the Moonachie Presbyterian Church, located at 221 Moonachie Road in Moonachie. During the program, Jonathan Goldsmith Cohen, Esq., Director of the Bankruptcy Practice of I. Mark Cohen Law Group, will present the basics of foreclosure and bankruptcy and answer attendees’ questions. This seminar is part of VLJ’s Disaster Legal Response Program (DLRP), which also includes free legal aid clinics and extended representation for those who are eligible.
