Stafford Preserve Project Wins Community of the Year Award
BARNEGAT, N.J., March 7, 2014 – Walters Homes, Walters Group and its ReBuild division was honored with 18 awards at the Shore Builders Association of Central New Jersey’s 11th Annual FAME (Fabulous Achievement in Marketing Excellence) Awards Ceremony held at the South Gate Manor in Freehold, NJ. Accolades included Community of the Year, Builder Sales Manager of the Year and Project Superintendent of the Year.
The Grand Award for Community of the Year was presented to Stafford Preserve, a luxury Silver LEED-certified apartment rental community in Manahawkin. The eco-friendly community was recently completed and consists of 18 three-story buildings totaling 216 units. Winning in the multi-family category illustrates the high level of service and customer satisfaction offered by Walters.
“We are tremendously honored to have been recognized in so many categories. These awards are a credit to the efforts of our entire team,” said Ed Walters Jr., founder and partner. “Our focus has always been to build vibrant communities that are strong and environmentally sustainable.”
In addition to Community of the Year, Walters Group received seven FAME awards for the planning and execution of marketing programs promoting Stafford Preserve. SBACNJ presented awards for Best Logo, Best Brochure, Best Interior Merchandising for a Model, Best Signage, Best Sales Office, Best Architectural Product Design, and Best Clubhouse/Recreation Amenities-under 8,000 square feet.
The ReBuild division of Walters Homes was recognized with numerous honors. FAME Awards included Best Brochure, Best Interior ReBuild, Best Landscaping, Best Signage, Best Color Ad-half page or larger, Best Sales Office, and Best Architectural Product Design. The ReBuild division was created following the devastation of Hurricane Sandy with a focus on building smarter, sustainable homes above the expected flood levels in coastal areas.
In the Individual Achievement Category, Pam Schuster, sales and marketing director, was awarded Builder Sales Manager of the Year, and Victor Farano, project manager, was named Project Superintendent of the Year. ReBuild Sales Representatives Michele Bowcock and Matthew Gaudet-Walters were named Builder Sales Team of the Year.
Four Walters sales associates were recognized for their outstanding sales achievements. Laurie McManus was added into the Circle of Honor Club for 35 units closed as well as the Million Dollar Club. Danielle Edreff was recognized in the Options/Upgrade category. The ReBuild sales team of Michele Bowcock and Matthew Gaudet-Walters were inducted into the Million Dollar Club at the Silver level.
The FAME awards honor both companies and individual members of SBACNJ for their excellence in marketing accomplishments. SBACNJ, based in Lakewood, N.J., is one of the largest local trade associations in the area.
