Non-Perishable Items, Gift Cards Collected for Baskets to Make Holidays Brighter
BARNEGAT, N.J. (Nov. 21, 2025) – Walters is continuing its tradition of supporting neighbors in need with its annual Thanksgiving food basket donation. The baskets, which include non-perishable food items and grocery gift cards, will be distributed to help local families and individuals who may otherwise go without this holiday season.
This year’s goal is to assist 120 families living in Walters’ income-restricted communities. Walters’ staff assembled and delivered the baskets to residents on Wed., Nov. 20.
“Our team values the support we give to the residents living in our communities,” said Jennifer Pampalone, director of social services for Walters. “Every department within the company has come together to collect monetary donations and food items to make this year’s drive a success.”
Walters has built a strong tradition of community involvement. This marks the sixth year that staff members have organized a Thanksgiving food drive to support residents. Each basket includes supermarket gift cards along with a variety of non-perishable food items.
Pampalone works in tandem with Walters’ property managers to provide specialized programming for residents living in family and senior (55+) income-restricted communities located throughout New Jersey.
