Applications Accepted for New Premium Income-Restricted Community

MARLTON, N.J., Feb. 8, 2021 – Walters, an award-winning developer based in Barnegat, will deliver the first building at Cornerstone at Marlton, a new premium income-restricted community, this month. Located at 4 Executive Drive, the new apartment building will consist of 24 units.

It is one of three buildings – with a total of 64 units – that will make up the project in Burlington County. Full completion of Cornerstone at Marlton is slated for early April, according to Walters. Applications are now being accepted.

Designed to achieve LEED® and ENERGY STAR® certifications, the eco-friendly community will fill a need for income-restricted housing in Evesham Township. Rental rates are based on the renter’s gross annual income according to the rent/income requirements chart.

The development will offer a mix of one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments, characterized by open floor plans, upgraded interior finishes and signature detailing that has won Walters many awards over the years.

The amenities package includes a full-size washer/dryer in every unit, fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops, secure key fob access, outdoor BBQ and picnic area, half-court basketball, patio area, and clubhouse with fitness center. A staffed social services coordinator will be available upon request.

This is the second Cornerstone development under construction by Walters in Marlton. Cornerstone at Greentree, an age- (55+) and income-restricted apartment community at 16 Stow Road, is slated for completion in the first quarter of this year.
