Baltimore Skilled Nursing Facility Recognized for Quality Care and Services
Westgate Hills Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center
BALTIMORE, Md. (Oct. 13, 2022) – Westgate Hills Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center in Baltimore recently earned two prestigious accreditations for its quality care and services from The Joint Commission, the nation’s oldest and largest standards-setting and accrediting body in healthcare. Located at 10 North Rock Glen Road, the 120-bed skilled nursing facility provides post-hospital care, short-term rehab and long-term residential care.
Westgate Hills received both the Nursing Care Center and Post-Acute Care Accreditations after a rigorous, unannounced onsite review by The Joint Commission, an independent, nonprofit organization. During the visit, its team evaluated compliance with performance standards across a range of areas, including post-acute care, emergency management, environment of care, infection prevention and control, and medication management, as well as rights and responsibilities of the individual and leadership.

Westgate Hills’ Joint Commission accreditations come on the heels of the facility earning the American Heart Association’s (AHA’s) new Skilled Nursing Facility Heart Failure Center Certification.
