Team Addition Follows National Recognitions for Skilled Nursing Facility

BALTIMORE, Md. (Dec. 7, 2022) – Westgate Hills Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center in Baltimore has appointed Ibrahim Rizqui, MD, as its new medical director. Located at 10 North Rock Glen Road, the 120-bed skilled nursing facility provides post-hospital care, short-term rehab and long-term residential care.
A respected physician and certified medical director for skilled nursing facilities, Dr. Rizqui is board certified in internal medicine. He is affiliated with the University of Maryland Medical System and MedStar Health System.
“Westgate Hills holds a deep commitment to quality care,” said Dr. Rizqui. “I am pleased to join the team at this established facility, which is providing progressive skilled nursing care for the Baltimore community.”
Nikki Gachot, regional director of market development at Marquis Health Consulting Services, which supports Westgate Hills, noted the appointment furthers the facility’s drive toward the best possible patient outcomes. “Dr. Rizqui brings extensive experience in the skilled nursing setting and is well known for his medical expertise and caring manner,” she said. “Westgate Hills is thrilled to have him serve in this leadership role.”
Westgate Hills recently earned prestigious accreditations from The Joint Commission, the nation’s oldest and largest standards-setting and accrediting body in healthcare. The facility also recently earned the new Skilled Nursing Facility Heart Failure Center Certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
