Hotel and Conference Center Part of Alfred Sanzari Enterprises’ Mixed-Use Glenpointe Complex
TEANECK, N.J., March 10, 2014 – White Lodging , one of the fastest-growing, fully-integrated independent hotelownership, development and management companies in the country, has been selected to manage the Marriott at Glenpointe in Teaneck, N.J. The 345-room hotel and conference center is part of the Glenpointe complex, one of northern New Jersey’s foremost mixed-use developments. Located at the crossroads of I-80 and I-95, the complex was developed and is owned by Alfred Sanzari Enterprises of Hackensack, N.J.
The Marriott at Glenpointe joins the White Lodging portfolio under the leadership of Keith Shopnick, general manager. An industry veteran with more than 20 years’ experience, Shopnick was general manager for the Westin Austin at the Domain before his most recent assignment at the JW Marriott Indianapolis, both White Lodging properties.
“The Marriott at Glenpointe has many wonderful attributes including a prime location close to New York City, local airports, the Meadowlands Sports Complex and many of the area’s top leisure attractions,” said Shopnick. “The hotel delivers outstanding customer service, exciting culinary options and is the place to hold events in Northern New Jersey. We are thrilled to be part of this community and Alfred Sanzari Enterprises to continue elevating upon the guest experience.”
Located at 100 Frank W. Burr Blvd., the Marriott at Glenpointe is just three miles from the George Washington Bridge and 15 minutes from Manhattan. Offering spacious and well-appointed guest rooms, the hotel is ideal for getaways, business meetings and lavish social events. A multi-million dollar renovation project recently transformed the hotel’s lobby, restaurants and 26,500 square feet of meeting space. Key to the lobby renovation is the hotel’s adaptation of Marriott’s “Great Room” concept, which features comfortable seating and plenty of room to work, socialize or relax.
“White Lodging’s industry reputation as a top-notch, results-oriented hotel operator speaks for itself,” said David Sanzari, president and CEO of Alfred Sanzari Enterprises. “Their significant expertise and proven track record in managing full-service Marriott-brand hotels was highly attractive to us, and made them a logical choice for this premier asset.”
