Rockville Skilled Nursing Facility Partners with Mayor’s Office to Recognize Heroism of Police and Fire Departments Throughout Pandemic and Beyond

ROCKVILLE, Md., July 7, 2021 — More than 80 attendees joined in a Fish Fry at Collingswood Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center in Rockville to honor local EMS and their heroism throughout the pandemic and well beyond. The skilled nursing facility held the celebration in partnership with the Mayor of Rockville’s Office.

During the recognition event, the Rockville, Gaithersburg and Montgomery County Police Departments and Fire Station 32 were presented plaques from the Mayor’s Office. Fire Station 3, which battled a fire that day and could not attend, also received a plaque. In addition, a Collingswood representative will visit the police and fire departments to deliver certificates for each EMS member.
