Free-Admission Event Provides Tips on Heart-Healthy Eating During American Heart Month
OAKLAND, N.J., Feb. 11, 2022 — There’s no better time than American Heart Month to learn more about heart-healthy eating. Join Oakland Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center for a free-admission, virtual “Eat Smart for Your Heart: Live Cooking Demo” on Friday, Feb. 18, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
“Eat Smart for Your Heart” is being held in collaboration with Spring Grove Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center in New Providence and cosponsored by Atlantic Health System’s community health department. Chef Kenneth Black of Spring Grove will lead the cooking demo with Oakland’s registered dietitian providing tips on healthy food options for cardiac health.
