Two New Tenants Lease a Combined 3,600 SF
Nicholas Creamery at MainStreet NB
NORTH BRUNSWICK, N.J. (June 9, 2026) – Garden Commercial is pleased to announce the signing of two new tenants at MainStreet NB, located at 2300 Route 1 in North Brunswick. The latest additions include fast-casual salad chain Chopt (2,500 SF) and ice cream shop Nicholas Creamery (1,110 SF).
Farm-to-fast-casual concept Chopt is a pioneer in the premium salad industry, known for its fresh and healthy meals, and innovative flavor combinations. Menu items include chef-crafted made-to-order salads, warm bowls, wraps and small batch dressings prepared using premium and locally sourced ingredients.
The new Nicholas Creamery shop marks the brand’s first Central Jersey location and will open in June. It will be located next to CAVA and will also feature outdoor seating. The brand is known for its artisanal small-batch ice creams, seasonal flavors and collaborations with local businesses. Nicholas Creamery has existing locations in Atlantic Highlands, Fair Haven, Tinton Falls, Long Branch, Middletown and Wall.

Other food service tenants at MainStreet NB include Chipotle, Shake Shack, Panera Bread, Panda Express and The Green Turtle Sports Bar and Grill. MainStreet NB’s retail component is anchored by Costco and Target.
Located on the 212-acre former Johnson & Johnson North Brunswick campus, the development also includes a proposed NJ Transit rail station and a Courtyard by Marriott hotel and office space. Its residential component includes plans for up to 1,000 luxury rental apartments and duplexes as well as 750 to 1,000 for-sale condo and duplex units currently built or under construction by Garden Communities, an affiliate of Garden Commercial.
