Customer-Supported Fundraiser Underscores Retailer’s Commitment to Social Responsibility

NEWTOWN, Pa. (Oct. 26, 2022) – In conjunction with Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, Norman’s Hallmark customers and sales associates helped make the card and specialty gift retailer’s inaugural “Squish-a-Wish” fundraiser a great success. Norman’s Hallmark donated a portion of proceeds from every Squishmallows stuffed toy purchased in its stores and online during the 10-day event – for a total nearing $8,000 – to the CHOP Children’s Fund at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.

“At Norman’s Hallmark, we’re passionate about partnering with organizations that share our commitment for bettering the health and well-being of children and families in our communities,” said Henschel. “CHOP is a vital local institution and we are honored to support its ongoing mission for delivering high-quality, family-centered care. We’re also immensely grateful to our generous shoppers and store associates for making our ‘Squish-a-Wish’ event so impactful.”

Norman’s Hallmark also will be lending its support to the Big 98.1 Loves our Kids Radiothon by sponsoring one of the event’s “Power Hours.” Now in its 21st year, this engaging two-day event – which takes place Dec. 8 and 9 – will raise funds to support the Child Life, Education and Creative Arts Therapy team at CHOP.

Norman’s offers a complete line of Hallmark products, cards for every occasion and Keepsake Ornaments, along with a diverse merchandise selection for gift giving and the home that includes fashion apparel and accessories, books, stationery, games, home décor, specialty candy and gourmet foods.
