Public is Invited to Movie and Discussion, Moderated by Film Reviewer Eric Goldman
SOUTH ORANGE, N.J., Nov. 10, 2015 – Temple Sharey Tefilo-Israel will hold a movie night with the screening of “Zaytoun” on Sunday, November 22 at 7 p.m. The Israeli film probes from a child’s point of view the contested borders – physical, historical and personal – which divide Israelis and Palestinians. It was directed by Eran Riklis and was a People’s Choice Award winner at the Toronto International Film Festival.
Dr. Eric Goldman, the founder and president of Ergo Media and a film reviewer for The New Jersey Jewish Standard newspaper, will moderate a discussion immediately after the film. Refreshments will be served. The event is free for TSTI members and $5 for guests. Advance registration is requested; tickets are available online at https://www.tsti.org/calendar/film-series-i.
