Second Annual ‘Squish-A-Wish’ Initiative to Benefit CHOP Children’s Fund
WEST LONG BRANCH, N.J. (Sept. 18, 2023) – In conjunction with National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, Norman’s Hallmark has launched its second annual “Squish-a-Wish” fundraiser. The card and specialty gift retailer – with store locations at Consumer Centre in West Long Branch (311 Route 36) and throughout the region – will donate a portion of proceeds from every Squishmallows stuffed toy purchased in its stores and online from Sept. 18-30 to the CHOP Children’s Fund at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
The fundraiser provides Norman’s customers and store associates an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of children and young adults that have been affected by cancer, according to Howard Henschel, Norman’s president and chief executive officer. “It’s part of our DNA to support the communities in which we do business,” said Henschel. “The work taking place at CHOP is truly inspirational. It’s our honor to once again raise funds and awareness to help the hospital’s vital mission during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.”
