Skilled Nursing Facility in Springfield, Pa., Known for Quality Patient Care and Services 

SPRINGFIELD, Pa., June 30, 2021 — Springfield Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center in Springfield has been recognized as a 2021 recipient of the Bronze – Commitment to Quality Award by the American Health Care Association and National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL). The skilled nursing facility is part of Springfield Enhanced Senior Living. 

“This prestigious award from AHCA/NCAL recognizes Springfield’s commitment to improving the lives of residents through quality care and is a reflection of the entire team’s dedication and hard work,” said Danielle Koons, regional director of market development with Marquis Health Consulting Services, which supports the facility. Springfield, which is undergoing a multi-million-dollar upgrade, also is recognized as a Best Nursing Home 2020-21 in the short-term rehab category by U.S. News & World Report. 

AHCA/NCAL is the nation’s largest association of long term and post-acute care providers. Created by AHCA/NCAL in 1995, the National Quality Award Program is a rigorous three-level process that is reviewed and judged by trained experts against a set of nationally recognized standards for organizational excellence.

Located on more than six acres at 463 West Sproul Road, Springfield Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center provides post-hospital care, short-term rehab and long-term residential care; its specialized programming aims to meet the specific healthcare needs of the local community. Springfield Enhanced Senior Living also includes Springfield Crossings, a personal care community. Together the facilities offer 173 skilled nursing beds and personal care units.  

A highly skilled and vision-driven nursing home consultant, Brick, N.J.-based Marquis currently supports Mid-Atlantic and New England facilities totaling nearly 4,500 skilled nursing and assisted living beds.
