BARNEGAT, N.J. (Nov. 22, 2024) – Walters is hosting its annual Thanksgiving food basket donation to assist local families and individuals who may otherwise go without this holiday season.
This year’s goal is to assist 150 families living in Walter’s income-restricted communities. Walters employees are assembling and delivering the baskets to families and individuals on Monday, November 25. This is the fifth year that the staff has held a Thanksgiving food drive to benefit resident families. The baskets are filled with gift cards and non-perishable food items.
“Our staff recognizes the importance of giving back to the communities where Walters builds,” said Jennifer Pampalone, social services coordinator for Walters. “Every department within the company has come together to collect monetary donations and food items to make this year’s drive a success.”
Pampalone works in tandem with Walters’ property managers to provide specialized programming for residents living in family and senior (55+) income-restricted communities located throughout New Jersey.

Additionally, each year, Walters presents scholarships to graduating seniors in the Barnegat Bay area who plan to attend college.
