Cornerstone at Grassy Hollow Named Community of the Year
BARNEGAT, N.J., July 1, 2021 – Walters, an award-winning design, build and architectural firm, has won 11 awards at the annual Fabulous Achievement in Marketing Excellence (FAME) celebration presented by Shore Builders Association of Central New Jersey (SBACNJ). Among the honors, the developer nabbed the highly-coveted Community of the Year Award for Cornerstone at Grassy Hollow, a premium income-restricted apartment community designed to attain LEED® and ENERGY STAR® certifications. The awards ceremony which recognizes members for their best sales and marketing work was an in-person event held at South Gate Manor in Freehold.

In addition to Community of the Year, Cornerstone at Grassy Hollow was recognized in multiple categories, including Brochure for an Affordable Community, Interior Merchandising for an Affordable Community and Architectural Product Design for an Affordable Community.
Two Walters employees won individual achievement awards: Property Manager of the Year went to Theresa Rubino; and Leasing Agent of the Year went to Chelsea Kearney. Both are part of the Walters property management team.
Walters also won in the following marketing categories: Logo Design for an Affordable Community, Cornerstone at Waretown; Community Facebook Page, Cornerstone at Waretown; Direct Mail Piece or Direct Mail Campaign, Cornerstone at Waretown; Signage for an Affordable Community, Cornerstone at Seaside Heights; and Sales Office for an Affordable Community, Cornerstone at Waretown.
Located in Lakewood, SBACNJ is a chartered local chapter of both the New Jersey Builders Association (NJBA) and the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) and is one of the largest local trade associations in the area.
