Riverton Campus Honored for Skilled Nursing and Personal Care
ALLENTOWN, Pa. (Sept. 29, 2026) – The Riverton Senior Living campus in Allentown has achieved two prestigious American Health Care Association and National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL’s) Bronze – Commitment to Quality Awards for its dedication to improving the lives of residents. Located at 803 North Wahneta Street, the campus includes Riverton Enhanced Senior Living and Riverton Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center, which was named among America’s Best Nursing Homes 2026 by Newsweek.
AHCA/NCAL, the nation’s largest industry association, represents more than 15,000 long term care facilities. Now celebrating its 30th anniversary, AHCA/NCAL’s National Quality Award Program is a rigorous three-level process in which organizations are reviewed and evaluated by trained experts against a set of nationally recognized standards for excellence. The program helps organizations achieve superior performance over time, ultimately enhancing the quality of care and quality of life for their residents.

Danielle Koons, regional vice president of market development – Pennsylvania at Marquis Health Consulting Services, which supports the Riverton campus, added “we congratulate the teams on this well-deserved recognition and on the recent Newsweek honor for Riverton Rehab.” As Bronze award recipients, both communities can move on to the second level of the program, the Silver – Achievement in Quality Award.
Marquis Health Consulting Services provides administrative consulting services to 112 skilled nursing facilities and senior living communities along the Eastern Seaboard. The hands-on, third-generation family-owned company’s “Care, anew” philosophy supports its mission to help clients transform industry processes, mindsets and outcomes. In 2026, nearly two dozen Marquis-serviced clients achieved the AHCA/NCAL Bronze Quality Award.

Newsweek’s 2026 list, in partnership with global data intelligence firm Statista, recognizes the top 1,200 nursing homes across the nation. Facilities were evaluated on four pillars including performance data, peer recommendations, accreditations and resident satisfaction, with performance data carrying an increased weight in 2026 to reflect the growing emphasis on clinical quality metrics.
