Real Estate Services Firm Continues to Strengthen and Add Services
EAST BRUNSWICK, N.J., March 10, 2015 – CW Solutions, the national company that provides real estate services to the utilities and wireless telecommunications industries, announced the major accomplishments that characterized the firm's success in 2014. Last year was defined by a new company headquarters, employment growth, new service offerings and industry recognition.
CW Solutions' rapidly growing staff more than doubled last year. To facilitate continued growth, CW Solutions opened a new corporate headquarters at Two Tower Center in East Brunswick. The company leased 3,000 square feet to bring together employees who had previously worked remotely from multiple locations. Since its founding in 2002, this marked the first time the entire CW Solutions team was together in one location.
"We expect this growth trend to continue in 2015, and we will be filling some key positions in the coming months," said Stacie Curtis, president and founder. "For us to achieve our goals, we know that hiring the best and most knowledgeable people will make all the difference. And in order to do that we understand the importance of providing a rewarding work environment."
The firm created new positions and expanded many of its service offerings to better serve a growing client base. Specifically, new positions were added in the areas of right-of-way, property acquisition, permitting and title research.
While working with the country's railroad companies, CW Solutions realized a growing demand for railroad permitting services. As a result, the firm expanded its team of specialists who can handle all facets of the railroad permitting process, including any right-of-way requirements and special circumstances that routinely arise when clients undertake major construction or upgrading projects.
The CW Solutions team is well versed on the licensing and permitting process in New Jersey, involving land that is designated Green Acres, Blue Acres, historic preservation (SHPO), Pinelands and Highlands preservation as well as riparian areas, according to Curtis.
Continued growth in the title services industry prompted the firm to hire several new personnel. The company's team of title professionals provides clients with the research documents required, ranging from ownership reports to full title searches. In addition to title search, CW Solutions plans to add curative title work and title insurance to its menu of services.
Clients also benefit from a new mapping tool – Geographic Information Systems (GIS). This leading technology delivers support and analysis that drives projects across numerous disciplines, from utility to wireless development and more. In other areas, the company is looking to add services such as construction project management, appraisal services and formal training for various professions, according to Curtis.
"By adding to our value chain we can be more of a one-stop shop for our current clients and leverage new clients," said Curtis. "We have an experienced team in place that can oversee complex projects of any size and scope. We will continue to expand our services to become a turnkey resource for our clients."
CW Solutions Receives Accolades
In 2014, CW Solutions received a number of business awards in recognition of its growth and industry leadership. The company was named one of New Jersey's 2014 50 Fastest Growing Companies by NJBIZ, New Jersey's premiere business news publication, and was a finalist in the "Business of the Year (1-50 Employees)" category in the 2014 NJBIZ Business of the Year awards program. Most recently, Curtis was recognized as one of New Jersey's 2014 "Top 25 Leading Women Entrepreneurs" by Leading Women Entrepreneurs (LWE), a Hunterdon County-based media and events company. Curtis was also honored with an Enterprising Women of the Year award for 2014 from Enterprising Women magazine.
Also in 2014, CW Solutions gained a competitive edge by becoming certified as a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) under the New Jersey Unified Certification Program (NJ UCP), an initiative that streamlines the certification process. The diversity program allows the company to compete for work on public infrastructure-related projects in New Jersey.
"Participating in the DBE program opens doors for bidding on transportation projects across the state," said Robert Weible, vice president and founder of CW Solutions. "Our firm can provide a variety of services and this is another tool in our arsenal when competing for those projects."
Founded in 2002, CW Solutions is a certified Woman-Owned Business Enterprise (WBE/WBENC), Small Business Enterprise (SBE) and an active member of the New Jersey Wireless Association (NJWA), New Jersey Utilities Association (NJUA) and International Right-of-Way Association (IRWA).
The company provides expertise on property and right-of-way acquisition, leasing, title research, permitting, zoning, project management, nationwide governmental affairs, regulatory compliance, public works projects, GIS mapping, railroad permitting and landman services.
