Initiative to Benefit Those in Need Via the Community FoodBank of New Jersey
WEST ORANGE, N.J., Nov. 11, 2020 – To help those in need during the holidays, The Residences at Edison Lofts in downtown West Orange is hosting a town-wide Thanksgiving Food Drive now through Monday, Nov. 23. Please consider donating non-perishable food items; a collection bin is located at 33 Ashland Avenue, breezeway entrance, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.
This initiative will benefit the Community FoodBank of New Jersey (CFBNJ). A member of Feeding America®, CFBNJ has been delivering food, help and hope across the Garden State for 45 years. At this time, CFBNJ is most in need of canned protein, including tuna, salmon and chicken; canned meals including soups, chilis, stews and meatballs; shelf-stable milk; grains including pasta, rice and cereal; instant potatoes; and canned fruits and vegetables.
